FRIDAY NIGHT RIFFS

Well this morning I got up and debated grabbing a rifle for about 5 seconds.... Grabbed a guitar instead.
Had a cool little riff stuck in my head this morning, so I recorded myself just working through it a little bit. I may get back to it later, I may not.
Depends on how well I play call of duty for the next couple hours lol!

Man, that riff that kicks in at about 28 seconds is like a Call of Duty Live Round Rifle to the head heavy! :dood: As always, tone rules too!

I haven't contributed anything in a good while, as I haven't been recording lately.
However, my old project Learn the Hardway has been somewhat resurrected with some personnel shuffling and a new member. It's kinda different. Here's a spontaneous jam that fell together a few weeks back, the bass was added later on. Kinda sloppy in places but I think there's enough here to make a basic song structure out of parts of it

Edit: uploaded a different rough mix I was sent, has slightly better defined drums. Thankfully, recording and mixing is not my role in this project.

Here's a riff i came up with in 2014....Schecter C1 Hellraiser into 1997 Marshall VS265:

And the song it would morph into in 2019:

Dude....8?!
(I have a special interest in knees, rebuilds, everything "knee surgery", I wanna know!....seriously....lol)
Cool here's a brief rundown.
at 15, I Popped an acl in high school playing football. Lost football/track scholarships.
1. Repair with patellar tendon graph.
Dr. Gave me a bone infection.
2. And 3. To remove hardware, scrub, redo, chest cath to fight off infection.
4. Few yrs later at jr. College tore cartilage out in same knee.
5. And 6. Trying to walk on to university bball team, wrecked my good knee, Acl, mcl, 3 cartilage tears. Took 2 surgeries to fix all that.
7. Few years later, Arthritis and meniscus removal in original knee.
8. Meniscus tear in 2nd knee. Just a few years ago.
I need titanium replacement in the original knee and have for years, just fighting it off as long as possible.
