Rain, Rain, Go Away....

I love every drop of this rain! I grew up in Ohio and I really miss the rainy season a lot!

This is the best rainy season we've ever had and I'm enjoying every minute of it...don't even mind getting stuck in traffic.

More coming this weekend!

I'm trying to be "ok" with it. I go through very deep, dark depression when it rains.

Thankfully, on the hillside, we dont deal with flooding.

On weekends i will get in the car and drive out into the desert to find the sun.

There you go , drive until you find it.
Man , you would hate the PNW. It rains almost constant but we have had some sun break through.I expect snow fall but it's usually not much. Measured in inches not feet.

Well, unless you're just east of the Cascades....then it's around 300 days of sun a year.....at least that's what's advertised at one local resort along the Columbia. I don't think it's quite that many, but this be the desert where I'm at. And it has been raining off and on for the last week, but not like you guys elsewhere.

On the day this photo was taken, it was ugly, gray and pouring down rain at my pad.

Location is less than 1 hour from my home.

I get to take advantage of the Cascade mountains' rain shadow.

It usually wouldn't take me much more than an hour, maybe 2, to find some rain, should I ever wish to do so, though. Just like you, but the other way round lol

I did live in North Eastern and the only thing is it didn't rain much but the wind blows intensely every season.
