Cast Iron FMX would have been stock.

A small block C6 has always been rare

We pulled it from a similar car and my pop was the one who said it was a C6 . I was 15 at the time so not much experience in transmissions.
I do remember it being very heavy though.

Well have to add 8' to one part of the ever growing garage structure. Turn 8x10 fr ont halfinto Engine room-workspace. By adding the 8' on that particular part will be able to keep Capri under roof. Why, this thing is massive..lol & like to have a 360 work spot. plus get the 3 big blocks into a dust free room as the sanding begins soon

Setting up to pour concrete for the engine room addition to ever expanding garage. Pulling motor this weekend,man, wonder if i should just run er like this..nip the lil rust here & there & just drive all the time... who care if ya bump it, can't hurt it lol

Restore it. Fresh paint, restore the chrome, some nice aluminum wheels. She'll be sweet!

Was planning on it, the 66 galaxie society has my vin registered now. That is the original paint & interior according to the documents they traced through 3 owners. Something about the original feel & rawness of this car is growing on me. drive it, always get them so nice they stay in garage way to much. I park the other stufff until the salt is off roads until march, we shall see if it stays rat rod or goes show car

Engine room addition almost done, got lucky to pour concrete in January in PA & snuck in the exterior paint yesterday.

Finally get to pull the engine tomorrow. Had to build that add on to put all my stuff in cause this thing takes up some space. Like being able to 360 work on the car.
