Who Owns Fender

Thing is. I see some of what you guys have. I thumb thru the Sweetwater catalog. And frankly. Nothing jumps out and slaps me In the face with…. “You can’t live without me.” The exception being my blue Strat. I had really serious GAS over that one.

Yeah, I really have no interest in any more guitars right now, either.

My interests are more focused on gear for the stage. I actually feel like I’m pretty close to having what I need. A better floor processor (hence the interest in a Helix) is about all I think would really be useful to me.

Steve, I have a Tama Iron Cobra double pedal and Hi Hat Stand, But when I play single pedal, I have a Pearl Eliminator. I have had DW5000 Single pedals too.

Then on my Rogers kit, I have the original Hat, Rogers kick pedal and all the 1960's Avedis Zidjian Cymbals that came with the kit.

I have a several Fenders over the years. Ranging from MIM up to
Custom shop. There are gems and dogs at any price point
from any manufacturing company.

I must be lucky because my CS Tele is killer. I
can feel the strings vibrate in my hands.

The only issue(big issue) I had is it had the wrong pickups from the factory.
But Fender made it right. That is a whole other thread.

I had some good ones and some new ones that needed work. I doubt
I would buy another Fender though.

Mostly I don't like the price points. Also I would want to be able to play it.
I might have to hand in my Gear forum card when I say this, I am more than
satisfied with my one Fender and one Gibson guitars.

I see a bunch of QC posts. I worked in the metal industry. I did QC,mechanical
and chemical testing.

Anything from welding applications up to medical applications. I can relate
a little to some of the posts.

Management will pressure you without a doubt. If it was medical use I would
not budge. Or fake tests.

What I learned is which companies would accept certain things, which ones would not.

I can see with the info about Fender QC they do the same thing. They know who will accept
things and who wont.
In other words "this is good enough" It's about profits.
