Hi!

I'm Jasper. I live in the Netherlands with my girlfriend and dog. I play in a death metalband called Deadspeak (currently recording our debut album, demo DISSOLVE THE DREAMS already out).

I like to play pointy guitars (I own a Jackson RR24 and am hoping the new Ironbirds will come to Europe) through a 6505+ with some pedals in between and recently ordered a Behringer Model D to start getting a bit into analog synths.

I had a specific question about the 6505+ cable and found a thread on this forum. But can't post a reply yet because I had to post something here first haha. Might stick around. Seems like a cool forum.

Will post other pics later if I don't forget. Files are too big right now.

But for recording setup:
Peavey 6505+ -> FL9 Flanger -> RV6 Reverb -> MXR M300 Reverb -> DD3 Delay -> old Sound City cab -> SM57 and MD421.
Have a couple of 1960 cabs myself but the Sound City of the studio was awesome.

My guitars apart from the Jackson:
Solar S1.6 white matte
Mayones Setius Pro 6 (bare knuckles)
Gibson Les Paul studio faded (bare knuckles)
Cheap London City strat.

What would be your current issue with the 6505?

The bulky footswitch. I only use the channel switch and am looking into modifying my cable so it takes a small latching footswitch. Googled and found a thread about it on this forum.

The 7 pin DIN cable also is quite short and a bit of a pain in the ass. 7 pin DIN cables aren't easy to find.

a
lot of times you will need to make a DIN cable from parts but maybe we can help you find an already made cable.
Or maybe we can build a cable and mail it to you...
All things are possible at the tone rooms.
