Yeah I eat most everything. Just don't like basalmic. I can do vinegar, apple cider vinegar, pickled anything... but not that.Really? Also good on a salad! Different folks different strokes. AllinAll I bet your palette is more versed than mine. I'm pretty picky ...and child-like. Lol.
We got ahold of some 25 year old balsamic in one of those Olive Oil/Balsamic Vinegar stores. That stuff was like a sweet syrup. Even sampled straight it was yummy. That stuff they call balsamic in the grocery store isn’t even in the same zip code as the 25 year stuff. Generally, when we use it as a dressing we add a bit of honey. Not sure we even add olive oil. We’ve also just drizzled it straight on whatever. It might be good on ice cream.Yeah I eat most everything. Just don't like basalmic. Thanks Brad. So sorry to hear about that. Puts a damper on the holiday.I'm making scratch lasagna on Sat. for Christmas Eve dinner... just a small tradition in our Family unit. Gotnews a few hours ago... a cousin of mine suddenly passed away this afternoon in hospital. A year younger than I, awful accident. We used to hang quite a bit as wild teen boys, but our paths diverged, and TBH he ended up living a real hard life due to questionable choices. Rest in peace, Darryl. We had some good times!
His parents live a couple blocks away from us, I'll be walking over tomorrow to sit with them. ... my son and daughter are driving home Christmas Eve day ... hope the weather isn't stupid for them to deal with. Finished my shopping/groceries/booze run stuff earlier today. Frick it's cold up here!
Happy holidays my brothers cherish your families if you can!
