Session 5
Ambassador of Strings & Wings
This gives an idea what its like right now..
Still got power, Norm? Hope it lasts!!
If that’s your place Norm? …. You might have gotten just a little more than we did. Shoveled some snow on the driveway this morning and mostly was seeing about an inch where it hadn’t drifted. Was not enough to fire up the snow blower for sure.Well, we got off lucky here! in the banana belt of Ontario, other parts of the Province still getting hammered today unfortunately, and some even into tomorrow. We were fortunate so far to have no loss of hydro.
Hundreds of thousands in Quebec, and thousands in Ontario without power. We had zero snow until yesterday.
Stay inside by the fire and stay safe Norm. It’s What we’ve been doing these past couple days….. well…… except for the thing about taking the pooch out when she just can’t hold it anymore. Thankfully. She’s been doing her job(s) and pretty much sprints back to the door.Weather Advisory

Yeah. My youngest and his family left Chicago Thursday about noon:30 for a 200 mile trek west to our old home town. Got there a bit before 5:30. Normally about a 3 1/2 hour or so drive. Had to change routes part way there as the interstate was closed to clean up what we assumed was a crash of some sort. But they did get there safely. Thanks Rick! That's what we are doing as well. We have plenty of food and just taking it all in, happy to be at home! Feel bad for those who are travelling and have now been stranded, there are many of them out there..![]()
