My Les Pauls

But, had my other 2nd favorite LP too. Now Ampmad has it. Post pics of that white baby with the Bigsby.

Are you talking about the white Les Paul Studio that I sold to @Amp Mad Scientist ? I never had a Bigsby on that guitar.

To be totally honest, in some ways, I actually liked that guitar better than my Custom.

I don't regret selling it, but it was a very special guitar to me.

At one point, I did have a Bigsby Vibramate kit on my Custom, though.

Here's what that looked like. This was one of my forum avatar pics for awhile.

Smitty, forgive me for my broken memory. Thanks for the Custom pic. Yes I now remember, it was the Silverburst. I can still remember how you placed it in the case and placed the strap just so, here at Kathy's. Did you have a Bigsby/ Vibrate on an SG too?

Yes. My 1974 Gibson SG has a "Gibson" stamped, Bigsby-style vibrato.

Here's what that one looks like. This is after I added an aluminum tailpiece spacer/extension:

The forum members who remember this from the ETSG days will recall this guitar as, "The Kraken."

And, a close-up. I modified the extension a bit by cutting away the aluminum plate from the inside of the "horseshoe", and I removed the round, clear plastic guard from the output jack. I had made that guard from the clear lid of a cassette case back in the '80s!

Yup,. I remembered all but you removing the plastic poker chip from the jack. That guitar is as close to my white 76 SG as most get. Same contours, fret marker inlays, layout and speed knobs. Only the Kraken has the mini hums and Bigsby where mine has OEM Tarbacks and no vib.

I wear two frames when I hammer...
Wait...
WTF?
I dunno... :ROFLMAO:

Tool pouches usually have at least 2 loops or metal rings to hang your hammers on. I wear mine with a framing hammer or roofing hammer, trim hammer on each side quite often. Being ambidextrous, I often reach for my hammer on whichever side is most convenient. Plus sometimes one needs to drive a nail, or wedge the claws in behind a board, trim, window, or other stuff while doing demo, and then use a 2nd hammer and or flat bar to work up or down as the holding pressure releases and your material comes off like planned.

SO many uses for tools and limbs and ways to achieve an outcome in carpentry.

I only carry one hammer at a time as well...I want to make sure i get the job done..:D
