How come the only bottle of Vodka that doesn't freeze in my freezer is Absolut? Grey Goose, Stoli, Tito's especially, all freeze solid in my freezer. But not Absolut.

If it was Smirnoff, Pinnacle, SVEDKA, or Skyy that didn't freeze I'd guess it was because of the main ingredient, antifreeze. Wonder how they keep them clear and not green or orange.

Technically, it’s the glycol in antifreeze that keeps it from freezing. Glycol is odorless, colorless and sweet tasting.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they used food grade glycol.

Propylene glycol is the base liquid in many of those vape pens that all the hipsters are sucking on, so to have a food grade additive in a drink wouldn't surprise me either

Had a bad experience with vodka when I was a stupid 18 year old. Consequently, I tend to stay away from the stuff. Frozen or unfrozen.

We've all got one of those, don't we? I think mine is probably gonna have to be tequila lol

That was an interesting read!

I have a big chest freezer I use for most of my stuff, including my vodka bottles. I honestly have no idea what the temperature in there is, but -27C is around -16F, which seems DAMN cold. :D

Hoth like cold.
I can't say I've ever had vodka freeze up on me but I don't think my freezer is that cold. I've had it thicken and start to act kinda syrup-y though.
