To Session 5: Canada will ban sales of combustion engine cars by 2035

Well it's like this:

We have a wind farm with hundreds of wind turbines...near Palm Springs.

But instead of using the power in Palm Springs (which is close by...)
The power is routed to a place more than 60 miles away.
Yep. We have hydropower up in these parts. Also wind, and even nuclear, but mostly it's the dams. We produce so much electricity, that just one of the several dams (Grand Coulee), typically produces more than 21 million megawatthours of electricity each year, and supplies power to eight western states and parts of Canada...that's just one of 11 dams on the WA side of the US/Canada border, granted, it's not only the most power producing damn in the state, but indeed, the entire US....but one of 11 on that river alone, and 145 statewide...much of that energy eventually going elsewhere for dollars.

That's a bunch!!!!

Craziest car I owned was a Dodge Shelby Charger. I had the computer reprogrammed for 14 lbs of boost with 96 octane gas, a four inch exhaust, and I modified the intake with a Bosch blow valve from a Porsche 944 to keep the turbo spooled up during gear shifts. It was a handful with the front wheel drive torque steer and that much power. I used to run Toyo Proxes RA1 race tires but it still had too much tire spin coming out of corners. It got expensive replacing the tires. It was a beast in a straight line though. It went through head gaskets like crazy as well.
