Jimi Hendrix Live @ Woodstock

So I discovered that the original sequence
and music has been edited in a good way.
I ordered the DVD.
I assume this was not news but it was to me

Watching Jimi now , first song " Message to Love" Never heard that . Pretty good video for 1969.

You can hear where Robin Trower got his licks if you listen carefully.
The recording covers all of his wild riffs but among them are probably some secrets that would have been used in the future had it not ended.

I like how compact the effects units were back then.
Sounds like a very cool video, the original movie was awful editing.

I still think of Machine Gun as the epitome of Jimi's style.
IMO there is no bad Hendrix, though there certainly are some recordings where he wasn't at his best.

Really love the direction he was going with The Cry Of Love.
Kind of heartbreaking that nobody got to hear that taken further.

Man, that first song cranked. There is nothing like Jimi ripping into a solo. Pure voodoo.
