Added a JVM to the family, this amp covers soooooo much ground…..still learning, but liking what I hear so far. This is an amp I've wanted for a long time so I am very pleased to finally have one. This amp is a 1 owner, never left the house amp, so it's in good condition. It's had a tube change.

I’m very impressed with the foot switch capabilities. At first I was just going to use it to scroll through the modes. Now I think I’ll be programming my favourite 4 settings ranging from clean to breathing fire. Throw some reverb and fx loop on the clean and lead channel(od2)…..that should cover a lot of ground.
I’ll probably change my mind,, but that seems like the way to go.

How do you JVM guys set yours up? Very interested to learn.

The last Marshall I want to own some day. Nice score!

Thanks Ghost and fellow TTR superstars......

This was kind of what I was thinking as well. I love all of my other amps, but I'm not getting any younger and I don't play live anymore. A lot of my other amps are great at what they do, but are limited in their versatility at the same time. The JVM is a great sounding amp, and is so versatile. There isn't much you can't dial in. Plexi to JCM800 to a bit heavier JCM900/2000 tones, then into face melting gain and I was pleasantly surprised, a quite remarkable clean channel as well. This will be the last amp I own.

Being a dinosaur, the amp was a bit daunting, but really is quite simple to dial in. If I can do it anyone can. The footswitch capabilities is the icing on the cake for this amp. Set and forget(I won't forget, I will change it up haha). It has midi capabilities, but that is beyond me. I've always been a plug and play sort of player, technology past me by.

Yay! Fantastic amp!!
I use mine as a channel changer but to be fair, it reverts to the last setting used for that specific channel so if ch 2 is Red - which it stays on - and I switch to 4 for solo, when I hit switch 2, channel 2 is still set the same.
As I use fx loop always to use a noise gate, I guess it's kind of like presets but I still can quickly scroll through Green, Orange or Red on any channel as required which I cannot in preset mode. If that makes sense.
I also did the neg feedback mod, very simple and reversible, to get more midrange sorta roar like an 800.
I gotta use my JVM more...
