If you like pets...

@Zzzzz I am glad your critter returned home safely. Our cat goes outside regularly and she sometimes spends all night out there. We are always just a little bit afraid that she may not come back.
It is my feeling that if our cat wants out, then she should go out. They are predatory animals and ours still has that instinct in spades! She is definitely single handedly keeping the mouse population in check in our neighbourhood.

Too dangerous here in the city IMO. That said, Spirit is very skittish so goes outside on her leash! Hangs in the back amd eats grass, purring the whole time. Then I carry her in. Nice compromise. She doesn't chase flies, birds, climb... just eats grass.
She just turned 15 in Aug.

I got some bad news yesterday. After having Boo and Too with me all summer and most of the fall Too developed some pretty bad nasal congestion. After no success trying to treat him for an infection the vet discovered he had terminal cancer. There is a tumor growing behind his eyes and pushing down on his palate making it difficult to breath. They say he has 1 - 3 months. Boo is pretty upset.

Those are sad, sad news indeed, Chris... We're so sorry to hear about Too. Let us know how we can help...
