I just got my almost 10 year old son a new pair of Heelys! I should see if they come in my size...
I was telling my boy about soap shoes...the ones you could do inline skate style grinds on rails and curbs, etc....told him we should invent a shoe with both a grind plate and a wheel ....

Cubs. Back story to that. Was never that into baseball. My brother is a huge Cards fan. So thru that I had a passing interest in baseball. Started dating my future bride in 74. Her dad was a Cubs fan. If there was a game and it was on TV….. it was watched. Back then on WGN. Pretty sure marrying his daughter, becoming a Cub fan was going to be a prerequisite. And had I been a Cards fan…. Well that may have been a deal breaker.
