Downsized The Board

I saw the thread title and thought this was regarding downsizing the message board. Ha ha. I did set up a filter to delete inactive accounts for members that registered but have not posted in 365 days. Looks like we've both down some down sizing.
Do these inactive members get a notice prior to deletion?

I usually bust up a bit when I see this forum's automatic birthday announcement for a member who's never posted before!

I have a tiny 2 rail board that I use for very small venues or a rehearsal or anywhere I can get by with limited toys. Always have a wah tho! That big SKB board is so heavy too! I still have mine but it sits empty right now, I went with a Voodoo Labs.

Unfortunately some of the members that were cut usually had a lot to offer, Six String (Terry Anderson) for example was instrumental with helping me out after I took over ETSG, but time marches on and a lot of the guys from there that moved here are pursuing other options and venues.
I reached out to Terry a couple years ago pre-covid. I actually was concerned about his well being after his absence from the forum. Although I did remove his moderator status, the script deleted only people that had not posted in 365 days and had less than 1 total posts. This should have kept all members with
1 or more posts active members regardless of how long it has been since they posted.

In theory, if an account was created and never used after a year it will be deleted. Make just one post and the account won't get deleted.

My board grew to 34 inches. @RobV was kind enough to send me a Temple Audio Duo 34 and it allowed me the room to install all my pedals...large, but fully equipped
Glad it's getting some use, it was just to big in my kind of crowded office/man cave.
Going to be taking a trip back up North next month and didn't feel like lugging the big board around so I did this......

I am glad to see I am not the only one that likes to run a chorus at the end of the chain. And it's a Maxon/Ibanez chorus  I keep a small PB together to go to my buds to jam on, my 4x12 has moved into his garage permanently. I recently saw an interview & Bonamassa actually now uses a couple chorus in his chain, one sits at the very end of his chain at his amps so you won't know it's there ( I think he even said it's a little unknown secret). He uses it like I do to run a wet/dry rig or stereo & to flip phase, I also use it in Maxon's "doubler" setting with the mix low. Yesterday I watched a long interview with Dweezil Zappa talking about his gear and it seems him and his Dad's main thing is having a phase switch on their guitars as they like the out of phase sound and is key to getting a bunch of his Dad's sounds. Ok getting side tracked & rambling on about stuff I am learning and you guys probably already know:jammer:

And all this time. Thought size didn’t matter. Or so I’ve been told.
