Recording and production.

My reaper been acting funny…..

When i drop loops it changes tempo there is an option to untick that but cant seem to find it.

An other thing is…. Markers used to highlight region I want to loop/ render…, when i move marker it doesn’t highlight and marker and highlight are separately now wtf?

Any help would be appreciated

Wow, dude ...you're getting tricky - I've never even noticed the tempo change thing. Good eye. Not too much into the markers to know that one. Tell ya what ...I've been using Reaper for over 12 years and I've never seen how you can select the portion of the track and just simply delete the selected area of it. Seems simple, but I've never figured it out. I just use the "Cut select area." area and it does the same; however it puts it on your clipboard and erases what was there before it. Not a big deal but it could bug some.

I like to record direct to an interface. With some guitars I use a DI box between the guitar and interface. I use a standard amp plugin and play a basic version of the guitar part I’m working on to the track. Then I play around with different plugins and settings in the plugins until I have the tone I’m looking for. Then I re-record the track so I can take advantage of the dynamics of the current plugins. I sometimes go through several iterations with different plugins and settings until I’m satisfied. Using this method I have an almost unlimited number of amps, cabs, mic’s, pedals, etc. to play with.
What modeler?

Thanks! It was a lot of fun - first music collaboration with someone else in far too long.
Collaborations like this were exactly what I was hoping for when I built TTR. My playing abilities suck, this is true. However making it possible for people to meet online and share music with others is my talent. So I'll remain behind the curtains rocking my head with a big smile on my face. Good job guys.
