NAD…The Spark Mini has landed!!!

So anyway….
The heat here is keeping me hanging out in my recliner lately. I’m trying to give the Spark Mini a fair shake against the ease of grabbing the Taylor Mini to goof around with. In doing so, I’ve been grabbing a random electric guitar to sit by my chair. There are a couple with P90 pickups that I really like playing with…tonight is one of those nights.
The axe that is on the stand next to me is this one…

Now…I have the occasional desire for some thick, fuzzy, Stoner stuff…and Tinitus The Night for some of that style of stuff. Thing is, with one of these P90 loaded beasts, one usually has to manage the volume knobs on the guitar to quell the P90 hum…or dial in a noise gate to help…or both, when going to the extreme fuzz bliss zone.
So why am I blathering on about this here? Well…I’ve got to give this little amp some serious prop’s for its noise gate programming. This little beast KICKS SOME SERIOUS A$$ in this department! (And to be fair…so does the Kemper…but really…different animals, similar results)
I just dialed up a fuzz laden Orange style amp preset, cranked the gain, and the fuzz…and WOW! The factory gate setting handles so well, I want one for my real pedal board! The gating is nearly completely invisible! Opening and closing without disturbances in the space/time continuum! BEAUTIFUL!
I did notice this before, but the more time I spend with it, the more I appreciate it!

I have to grab the crazy hot loaded P90 SG next time! So much fun! So little HUMMMMMMM!
/end rant.

UPDATE ON MINE

Turns out there is NO app for desktops.

However, I coild finally download App to the wife's new tablet, mine wouldn't let me use it either. Now it works,
I setup 4 sounds I like and done. I likely won't use all the fancy parts but nice to have a BT speaker and I can practice songs with headphones running from phone or tablet using YT.
It's a cool little device!! I might even try recording ideas from it just for giggles.

I’m glad to hear that you were able to, at least, get it set up to your liking!
