FRIDAY NIGHT RIFFS

Tune the tone , lol
I have to share because 1 the video is funny because I was leaning on the speaker during the vibrato (dumb ass)

But I did a string change on the Dean “Blue Water” “V” to Paradigm 10’s and I accidentally bumped the switch to middle. Normally I play bridge but the vol. down on the bridge and middle straight in to Park on the drive channel
“Magic” well except for my playing , anyway.
Since I did not video the V in question #7 of 19 “Blue Water” Dean Forum custom order around 2012 ? That picture is the unboxing day after waiting several months and prepaying !

I love this picture man!
I scrimped and saved for like 6 months for mine, and I'd send in like $100 at a time which was hard money back then for us and my young family.

Totally worth it!

I've since changed the nut, and both pickups out of it, sporting a 59n and DDJ reverse zebra bridge..

I do have a long drawn out story behind my V ,, just not as cool as the ones I have just read..
In 1978 my drummer Ted’s cousin a bass player.. had a beautiful white Gibson V that I wanted badly,, we struck up a deal, I would give him a hundred dollars every two weeks till I could pay off the some of $500.00.
When I got to the point of only needing 200$ more.. he told me he couldn’t sell it,, so in the same fashion I was paying, he paid me back.. now go to 2018 in October I bought the one I now have …
Thanks for listening

Mitch

I am a little worried about mine because I am showing some fret wear in the normal places , first few frets. It’s not bad but could use leveling now. I would not want to have to pull frets out of that beautiful Ebony board.

I hear ya! Mine is still minty, it's the only guitar I have ever really babied and haven't played very much at all. I usually make it standard operating procedure to just rip on my guitars.... But not this one, she's special.
Mine is #9 of 19

I agree they are special but the only guitar I have to knock this one down from #1 is my 1990 LP studio. It is bad ass but there is no replacement for “V”
