Vintage Gibson SG Project:

I used Faber locking tailpiece screws and spacers to yield. 070" at the 12th on the low 'E' with. 010" neck relief and .060" on the high 'e' string.

The reproduction Maestro, from Copper Basin Guitars in Boise, Idaho, is slightly different in length than the original piece. This required plugging the original screw holes with mahogany dowels and relocating the new Maestro back about 1/4" or so.

Original Gibson knobs and pointers were obtained from a Reverb seller.

As always, I notch and profile the bridge bar to keep the string spacing from changing as the string bar can be easily moved across the mounting bracket.

It's finished...
