Well boys and girls...

Keep up the PT and you'll be up and around in no time.
I'm trying my best! A couple days ago I think I may have overdone it a bit, because the next day was really hard/painful, and I didn't get as much PT done as I did the day before. So finding the balance between just enough and too much is going to be something I need to figure out.

But, I can get my knee bent at 90°, and I can also get it straight, and I can do both those things without too much pain. So far so good...so what!

Yep, I'm on it like flies on :poo:! Lol
Also, I'm trying to get myself around on my own as much as possible too.
See that, Liveevil,,,,,,,,,,,,, I was right.

In my case, Blinky, I managed to toss aside crutches and within a day or so after returning home I was trying not to spill my cereal as I hobbled from kitchen to wherever I would be eating it in mom's/our apartment.

I'm not even allowed to have crutches yet. I'm still relegated to a wheelchair for the next 9 to 11 weeks, I do have a walker that I can use to get from my chair/bed/toilet or wherever I am to the wheelchair and vice versa, but I'm not supposed to have any weight whatsoever on my leg at all for the first stretch of my recovery.

Speaking of wheelchairs, today I'm supposed to have my own personal chair delivered. Until then, I've been using a really old one that my grandpa was in before he died. It's super uncomfortable and isn't really set up the way that I need it to be, but I'm 100% convinced that it really helped me out with getting released from the hospital when I did. They wouldn't have let me come home knowing that I didn't have some kind of wheelchair to use.

So I'm a little excited about that. Maybe I can trick it out! Hopefully there's some good knobby tires on it too lol

OK Blinkster, The above, would surely send me into NUTSville. I WOULD HAVE TO WALK. BUT, I would listen to Docs orders if I were u, not Chili's orders.
Honestly dude I don't think I could walk on it even a little bit even if I tried. But yes, the wheelchair is a bit of a challenge to wrap my head around. I can hobble around a little bit with the walker, but usually it's worth it to just take the chair if I can. It helps knowing that it's only for a period of a few weeks, too, and that I can transition to crutches and eventually my own leg under my own power.

So yeah, the chair drives me a little nuts, but there is light at the end of the tunnel, and everyday I get a little bit closer to it.

I just got my new wheels. Couldn't have had better timing there, Robert!

So far it seems like I can hold a guitar while I sit, I'll have to see if I can crotch my V in this thing and if I can get back to band practice.

My 2 year old likes wheelin' around with me too!

But that's all unimportant. I need to go dig up my MX helmet now.

I think the V would be good.
Does the left armrest fold down?
Actually, yes, the armrests are adjustable, however, they are already adjusted as far down as they will go.
But I don't anticipate it being much trouble at all, especially if I can crotch a V. I'm not thinking the Explorer will fit well, and strat shapes are uncomfortable to hold while in it too, but the V....I think the V might just be the ticket. I've never had a problem sitting with one, and it seems like it would fit just fine especially since the footrests are adjustable too. Good thing my right leg is the one that will be needing to be sticking out straight for a while and not the left, otherwise I'm not sure if I could make any guitar comfortable to hold in it.

You’ll be jumping ramps in no time.

I like your wee groupie there,. Blinky

Heading back to Seattle this morning. They'll be removing stitches and checking everything out.

I'm a little bit apprehensive about the stitches being removed, on the one hand, I'm guessing it will feel great to have these things out of my flesh, on the other hand, my knee/leg is still very much tender and I'm afraid that it's gonna hurt a bit.

I feel like I've had my fill of pain for this month. Tomorrow I can start over, but it's still the month of May for right now

Anyway, maybe I can get some more cool pics to post.

Also, I have some questions to ask the doc. I know I have had 3 plates put in, but I don't know exactly how many screws they put in there, and also I would totally like to get ahold of some copies of the x-rays too.

Otherwise I'm feeling pretty decent about things, I continue to improve ever so slightly each day. Just kinda tired of having a leg that I can't use yet being attached and dragging along all the time, but that too will improve with some time and a lot of work.
