I would like to thank Ray and Adrian for all they have done to bring this forum into existence, breathe life into it and keep a constant watch on our corner of the interweb. Without Ray and Adrian, there would have never been a TTR! Thank you my brothers!

Ray and Adrian have decided to resign as Administrators, although they will remain here as welcome members. When the 3 of us first opened the doors here 6 years ago, we did so for the love of music, comradery, learning and sharing info, not to mention the gear porn. At first the cost to run the site was not very expensive something like $10 per month hosting fees. That was a fine server for a small forum with a handful of members. We were happy to pay the small fees it took to be able to call the best forum on the internet, our home. We eventually gained some sponsors and I believe there was 1 year that the site was self sustaining, we were happy. More members joined, more pictures and videos were added and we out grew our server and bandwidth... a couple of times. As this place has grown, so have the bills to keep it running. Between hosting, software licensing and domain name registration the cost to keep the lights on here is around $750 annually. This comes due in October when most people are buying Christmas presents and we reached into our own pockets to keep this place going. A few months back we had the big server crash of 2021 and I worked frantically for a week trying to bring this site back to life. We were able to restore the site on a new bigger, better server designed to handle a forum needs. The cost was a few hundred dollars split evenly between the 3 of us. As this forum gets more popular, it has been costing us more money to keep it running.

Ray, Adrian and myself had a discussion about if we wanted to keep losing money on this site. We considered selling it and even just pulling the plug. I did not want to see what we have all worked so hard for, to just fall off the face of the Earth, so I said that I would take over full admin responsibility for this site and if I can raise the funds to pay the bills due in October, I would keep the doors open and try to keep on keeping on. Although I love this place and consider y'all to be family, I can't support you all. This site will need to be self sustaining if it is to remain open. I had built a donation page with a link to PayPal but it showed my first and last name which I don't mind sharing with our family members, but would prefer to keep that private from unknown eyes.

I was pleasantly surprised to wake up this morning with several PMs. I just copy and pasted my paypal info in each post without a thank you as I need to start work here shortly. THANK YOU one and all for your contributions. Please include your TTR screen name so I can credit you accordingly.

If you think that TTR is a great place and want to help me to keep the doors open, send me a PM for my PayPal, Venmo or Zelle info. I can make a running list so y'all can see where we are for donations. I can add your name next to your donation amount, or display the amount anonymously. If we can hit $750 before the end of October, this will keep the lights on for another year.

Target = $750

I hope to pitch in, but in the coming months.
I'm too broke now.
I know that the members will keep the forum going, more or less everybody will contribute something to keep the lights on...including myself. I think you can pretty much count on everybody's support for this.
