Well boys and girls...

Holy Ship, I'm getting Horny.

Now seriously. With a bod like that, you are far too big for a KTM300. I think if you are still interested in riding, I might suggest a 4 wheeler.
It doesn’t matter , I used to own quads and it was always pinned in fifth gear even in the whoops. They can hurt you pretty good to. Actually a learning curve coming off a bike.

Hate quads. I grew up on two wheels, very much more comfortable with two. I was flying around on dirt bikes before I hit double digits age wise lol
Quads are for getting around the farm.

I sold my own bike to LRT last year. Then he busted up his foot/ankle. This Katoom is a 2-stroke and it belongs to a friend who insisted that I take it for a spin. It's nice and light and quick as a 2-stroke should be..just a freak accident.

Either way, pretty sure my riding days are over lol

Here is the Yammy I sold to LRT:

Well Blinkie, I see you are ready to go home. Your normal self is back.

My 2 Stroke pre dates your friend's KTM300. Once I was riding my KX250 at a buddy's track and thought I would give one of those Yam 4 stroke 250's a try. I flat out could not ride a 4 stroke cuz I was so used to when my 250 came on or off the pipe. I will say this, for folks not used to 2 strokes, incidents like yours tend to happen more times than not with them vs those who ride 2 strokes 100% of the time.

Also, I sure as heck don't think 4 wheelers like the Banshee Blaster or Raptor were made for farm putt puttng around.

I've ridden both 2 and 4 stroke bikes throughout my lifetime. I like the torque that the thumpers put out, but the smaller ones do in fact have that powerband where if you're not careful it'll stand up on ya in a hurry just like a 2 stroke. These kinds of 4 strokes didn't exist when I began riding. Sure there were the XR style engines...but these new thumpers really feel a lot like a 2 stroke but with real power on the low end. 2 strokes, all the power is when you're on the pipe.

That Yamaha pictured above is a hot bike, I'd put it up against any 250 2 stroke, and have, and left them in the dust!

No, banshees are racing quads, obviously, but they're bulky and have 4 tires! Eww! Lol
Quads handle quite a bit differently than a bike, particularly in the air. I just don't like riding them as much as a bike.

Believe me Blinkie, I understand, but given the nature of your leg/ now injury SORRY for real< If it is a choice of to ride ever again or not to ride, I would choose ATV vs no ride,,,,,,,,,,, if I felt it wise to never mount a 2 wheeler for the rest of my life.

Some fun vs 0 fun, seems like a no brainer.

Oh and I was not saying you had limited 2 stroke experience, merely saying those fellas I knew who mostly rode OLD school 4 strokes like XR 250 XR500's etc, often try trail riding etc on 2 strokes, and wind up hurt.

Well the irony is that part of the reason I sold my bike to LRT last year was because I'll be 40 in about a month, and I just feel like I'm getting too old for this stuff anymore lol.....particularly because I don't seem to have a "let's take it easy and putt around" kind of mentality. I get on a bike, and usually within an hour's time, I'm pushing the limits and going big.....
But, I don't bounce off the ground anymore. I kinda hurt when I go down lol
I figured it would be wise to let it go before I ended up doing something exactly like what I've done hahaha!
Except I don't eve have a cool story about why I wiped out this time!
