Do you dislike them, or have you never had the opportunity?I have never used a track saw … ever

Beautiful! Plus, I love any excuse to use an orbit sander! And if that’s not enough to keep me busy the wife went and picked up this walnut table locally that the guy was just giving away. A 3’x3’ table with 4 sticks of 1 1/4” walnut glued together. Finished sanding off the old faded stain and it’s a gorgeous piece of wood.

Wow, sorry brother. I am certain that airlines and road crews loose sight of the importance of the reasons their customers are travelling in the first place. Your efforts speak for themselves, and none of this diminishes the thoughts and memories you have. Remember that funerals are for the living, so don't let it eat you up.This past Fri and Sat were truly 2 of the worst days of my life.
The flight to Denver was delayed because the ground crew did not close a fuel door on the right wing.
Then, nobody came to close it for over 30 min. Total delay was over an hour.
Not an act of God, not weather, etc. Completely avoidable due to incompetence.
So, I missed the connecting flight to Durango. There were no other flights with United or any other airline.
I considered driving the 8 hours to Durango, but it was not going to work.
So, I never made it past the Denver airport and got on standby back to Newark.
There were lots of other little kicks in the nuts along the way, but they are trivial in comparison.
I'm home now and still exhausted.
I missed my father's final funeral service.
(We had a service in NJ earlier, as everyone is here.)
My sister and brothers had planned this service at his church in Colorado.
In the end, only my sister made it there.
I can understand how someone might carry out an unspeakable act seeded by an event were one was really screwed over badly.
I am not condoning or considering this, but I do understand the need for revenge.
I do see it as an opportunity for some very dark themed songwriting.
Sorry to be a Donnie Downer; thanks for letting me vent here.
I am a rough carpenter, and have never come across an actual use for one,.. plus I don’t build cabinets,, so the opportunity as never come up.Do you dislike them, or have you never had the opportunity?

I have yet to have them cut anything for me,, I have always taken the full piece and cut it myself.. many times.Although, bro Mitch, if you ever had sheet goods ripped or cross cut for you at Home Depot on their Panel saw, that is as close to a Track saw as you can benefit from the use of the handiness of a Panel saw.
GOTCHA, Mitch. I guess when it has come to carpentry for me, having to do just about everything on a building ranging from digging trenches for footers, building forms, pouring footers, laying the block, framing, plumbing and electric, doors and windows, roof, sheetrock, mudding, painting, trim, kitchen and bath cabs, ceramic tile, vinyl, trim, paint, insulation, hvac, siding, gutters and spouts, grading, I am bound to have made use of just about every resource available to help us Git r dun.I have yet to have them cut anything for me,, I have always taken the full piece and cut it myself.. many times.
Thanks
