$159 on Amazon. I needed a good knock around acoustic. After watching a few YT videos, I knew this one would work. I was surprised! Bone nut and saddle. Put on a set of 10-47 Martin strings, adjusted the truss rod, shaved the saddle to .080 on the low E and .070 on the high E and it now plays like a dream. Solid spruce top, rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck. Sounds much better than I expected.

Here's a YT video with a guy playing one side by side with a Martin HD35

I bought a Rogue acoustic for the grandson last year for Christmas whopping 55.00!
I figured it would SUCK and I would set it up decent enough for him to learn -- or destroy -- new strings and a set up and it DOESNT SUCK

no its NOT going to beat a Martin or out play a Humingbird.......but -- for 55.00 for BANGING around on it isnt bad at all. You could lead a campfire sing along with it .....and if a bear (or drubk camper) fell on it..... your out 55.00 ..... no biggie

First of all, congratulations! That looks like a pretty nice acoustic.

Second, I'm kind of surprised by the price given that it has a solid (not laminate) spruce top, not to mention the other woods used. That's pretty impressive!

Yep, my 55 year old bottom of the line Yamaha acoustic will probably go to the grand kids as well. It's been pre-stressed , scratched, and gouged just for that rowdy bunch!
