I Dropped A Guitar Today:

Compared to what other?

Titebond is good stuff. I also have an 8oz bottle of Titebond II... regular color. Never seen the "Dark" like you have.

Titebond II Dark is the improved strength, faster set time, waterproof version of Titebond II.

Anyone ever try this stuff ? Now i wasnt working on a guitar when i bought and used this stuff but it worked great.Screenshot_20220416-115841_Gallery.jpg

The rumor is, that a properly repaired headstock/neck break results in a better sustaining and resonant guitar.
they can also last a LONG FRIGGIN TIME --

as I recall from the Previous owner..... this headstock was repaired in the late 70's-ISH era ....... STILL BOOMING!

Dis ting is da BEAST! broke beat battered screwed blued and tattoed ....... and STILL brings da bizz-ness

Headstock breaks are a lot of work!!!

YOU were lucky, Robert.

In my repair of my friend's Epiphone Dot Deluxe ( same friend who interrupted our practice with the knife threat to the bass player) In that guitar's scenario, a huge chunk of wood became missing out of the back of the neck.

BUT I was able to re-glue the head back on and use wood filler to smooth in the cavity. I wrestled with leaving it like your neck since my friend is blind and would not see the difference. BUT not wanting any BS out of him won out, so I repainted it black like it left the factory and a gloss poly to complete the repair.

YAY basic black.
