Hard to believe we went back to that same era and even a bit farther back for Temple.. in my case.

I never ever saw things as like choosing to dump genre's of music in preference to others, such as growing up on Rock, then Disco coming along and adopting that instead of Rock, then Hair metal, New Wave, or Punk, NWOBM, DOOM, Grunge etc. I simply listened to as much music as was out there. This is why I can enjoy Grunge or DOOM etc without labeling it other than to call it music.

What I did like is variety, and I can just as well listen to The Sex Pistols, or Wendy O Williams, as I can STP, Frampton, Tom Petty, Tool, Deftones, Alice ( N Chains/Cooper), Temple of the Dog, KIX, Sabbath and even some of that Metallica stuff or Nirvana.

Seems like yesterday. Went to that concert with my good friend Bryan, he was a fraternity brother and we drove across the country from Philly to CA in 1976 together.

@Don O, I can imagine your total gas cost was likely equal to about 1 or 2 fillups @ 2022 California gas prices.
