
Here is mine. I know I'll catch hell for making it a half Gibson, but it sounds so much better now. The stock pickups did nothing for me. It now has a 1985 Gibson Dirty Fingers in the bridge, a Seymour Duncan 59 in the neck, full 500K pots, Switch Craft 3 way switch, and a PureTone jack (those are the tits). The finish from the factory on these guitars is really superb, but the electronics are beyond cheap.

The Bitch was finding the switch hole blank metal plug that looked like what Malcom used, and the almost non-existent pickup trim rings that fit a 5222.
Yeah. Although I'm still just starting to learn more details about Gretsch, that setup seems to be a real Gretsch distinguishing feature.What I really like about mine is the master volume option. Instead of going with the two switches, I went the single switch option with master volume, neck and bridge volume knobs, then a master tone.
