Ampmad,
Here is my quandry and forgive my lack of "like riding a bike"load math when it comes to 1,2, 4, 8 speakers wired in Series, Parallel or S/P.
OK, If I make a single 8 ohm cab, I get 8 ohm and need to run my amp at 8. But am I correct, if I wire the 2x8 ohm speakers in series in a 2x12, I will get 16 ohm? Likewise, am I correct, if I take these 2 same 8 ohm speakers and daisy chain them, I have to divide the load by 2 and only get 4 ohm? ( I DO NOT WANT TO EVER RUN 4 OHM.) Also,
I can deal with rolling a 2x12, even with EVM's. However, if you can tell me how to wire up 2- 1x12's and then how to connect them to the amp amd somehow to be the same as a single 2x12 @ 16 ohm, then this is what I need to see, wiring, jacks, etc wise.
Thanks
