And back on topic. It was a Strat kinda night. Was in the mood to learn me some Free/Bad Co “All Right Now.” Been playing AT it for several years. Knew I was taking liberties with the chords. So looked up tabs on it…. And frankly, while they all agreed, it sounded further off reality than what I’d been doing. Found a you tube tutorial and bingo. The dude nailed the chords.

I'm actually sticking to my discipline of playing 30-45 minutes on an acoustic at least every other night, and then switching to an electric. Tonight, it was playing weird Robert Fripp chords fingerstyle on my Martin. Then.... I switched to my '61 Reissue. Not only that, I decided it's been too long since I've played with my homemade JTM-45. Wow! What a sound! I'm use to playing the Bandmaster or a Hiwatt and DST for the past few months, so I haven't really dug back into the Marshall sound for a while. It was quite a bit of fun, and I let my neighbors enjoy it for a little while also.

This thing rocks! Especially through my 1970 Marshall 4 x 10. I didn't even turn it up much. It filled up the cellar easily.

Looking up tabs is essentially useless these days.
I like the "This is my first tab attempt so go easy on me"...how about don't post it if you do not know if it's correct.
Youtube works usually depending on the poster.
Cheers

Don't disagree. Like Sapient, I have found some that are spot on..... and others that are crap. Same with You Tube tutorials. Most aren't worth watching. But every now and then you find one that is also spot on. I have a pretty good ear. I can usually tell when something is off. I unfortunately don't have the talent on the guitar that matches my ear. That's when I go to tabs and You Tube for some help.
