Based on the lines in the song, "I've been down - I know every crack on these streets..." we plan on having the vocalist walking down a narrow alleyway in a section of Olde Towne Temecula that dates from the 1920's. We are also going to shoot some live band footage on nearby Cuddeback Dry Lakebed, where we will setup the full band and power the amps with generators.

Here's Cuddeback, formerly known as Willard's Lake in the 1920's:

We are also thinking of filming at the abandoned mill in Murrieta, California...

and maybe even some of the abandoned neighborhoods in Salton Sea, or possibly the abandoned mining town of eagle Mountain, California, shown below.

I insisted on us actually playing (not pantomiming) for this video, even though we will be playing along to the soundtrack. We have our own drone, so we can get some great angles.

We will also shoot some video at Mill Creek, which is one of our local venues with a 4 foot high wooden stage and full lighting gear.

What else would you like to see in the video???

All suggestions are welcome...
 
One idea I have for the video is to add a touch tone phone number (like Guns and Roses did) and then have the speaking phrase "times are tough...maybe the bad dogs should stick together..." EQ'd like a AM radio/walkie talkie and the singer will pull out his phone, dial.it, speak the phrase, then kick the cell phone like Yngwie kicks guitar picks...

How about some interspersed scene shots... camera moving low, "dogs eye View" checking out another lady dog, scaring off a bigger dog off a big bone and grabbing it up, ...I once did a thing where the camera "sniffs around" a fire hydrant then you move slightly off, tilt the horizon for a bit... great visual pun so to speak... for a pet store

That's a great idea!
 
move the camera up to a set of shoes or slippers on the porch... grab one up with your hand near the lens, and shake that camera like crazy for a few seconds, pause, shake again.
while this is being done, replace the picked up slipper with a totally mangled one, (chuck away the one by the lens) and show what the dog just did to that poor slipper

BAD DOG!
