Even the compensated ones?
This is true. The half bridge I have been using has three compensated saddles. It gets the intonation very close, but on the thicker strings, one may be a bit off.We don't get compensated barrels. They only produce the traditional versions.
I would only ever use a 6 saddle bridge on a Telecaster.
You will NEVER get intonation correct with a three barrel. It's always an average between two strings, but most people can't hear the anomalies, so it doesn't matter to the hobbyists.

However, it is not just hobbyists, but listeners who do not notice such slight variations, so ultimately, it may be meaningless. However, listeners don't notice much about a guitar at all, and most of what we obsess about is to inspire the player.

When I got it, I put in a 4-position switch. Suppose to bring the two pups in series in the 4th position. Noticed today I wasn’t get bridge pup. Other three positions worked as advertised. Gonna have to pull switch plate and see what’s up.
This was a kit guitar someone else built. They painted it with a paint brush. I sanded it to bare wood, stained and cleared it with tung oil. It did come with the 6 saddle bridge, but one of the changes I made was to install a new bridge assy for thru body strings.6 saddles.
I approve!!!!
Yeah it reminds me of my Custom Shop Modern LP. That Agile is well done!!Wow, very nice! Belly cut, neck through and nice top. Gibson should take some pointers!

I have those bridges on some modified guitars. However, I like to display maximum wood on my builds, so I prefer the half bridge. If I ever see a half bridge with 6 saddles, I will use it. If anyone sees one, please send me a linkThis is what I personally prefer to put on Telecasters...
