Well yes it's mahogany. Why on earth would you think it is plywood? It isn't a $100 first act guitarAre those ESP guitars made out of plywood?
Or do you think it's real mahogany?

Yeah, I GAS'ed hard for one for a few years, then got my hands on this one a while back and it's been my go-to ever since. I have a lot of sweet guitars, but this one gets more love than all the rest combined.Lovin' those Ola jobs. I was at his site a few days ago and I want them all. Not a booger in the bunch.

Absolutely stunning finish! And the Piezo in the bridge is just gravy. Nice score! This ESP should be here in Mar sometime for me. Has a piezo in bridge too.

The pickups are somewhere in the Duncan Custom/Duncan Distortion family of tones. So, yeah, you could get there.Man, that looks great. I'm a huge fan of simple lines and minimalism. Kinda like a Lambo. Can you get a good rock sound out of them like ...Foreigner/Humble Pie ...ish, or is it mainly for chug metal? I'm thinking Ola might not have wanted the mid bite crunch and focus out of them. ?
No doubt. ESP is one of the premier builders of the world. They don't skimp on anything, that's what the LTD line is for. Most all guitars are made of solid wood anymore anyway; builders have been trying out all sorts of wood options since CITES.
Good call on that ESP EC. I am pretty sure you're going to love it.
I've had a few LTDs and all but one were really nice. The "one" was a used, entry level bass... what a junk pile that was. But the guitar were fantastic.Even the LTD line is good, though.
One of my sons has an LTD bass. It has a natural finish on solid wood. It does have a two-piece body, but It’s a very solid and well-made instrument.
I have the exact same model. I love it!I’ve been watching this on Reverb for about a month. Just did a $75 price drop.

And yours is not only gorgeous, but sounds amazing as well.I have the exact same model. I love it!
you are asking the wrong groupOhhhh! A Pelham Blue Epiphone SG Special just showed up for $250. It won't last long I think. Should I, or should I not..?
I am still on the hunt for some actual guitar playing talent. Has anyone found a site where I can order some? Reverb seems to be all out!

I wanted one with the piezo to go from clean (or acoustic more correctly) to grungy quickly live. The Godins are awesome but there is no switch between pickup types so one must turn one volume up and the other down.Absolutely stunning finish! And the Piezo in the bridge is just gravy. Nice score!

I can just see the conversation at ESP.
Let's save some money on this line.
How?
Get a couple sheets of 3/4" good one side ply and we will cut guitar bodies out of em and put a beautiful quilty maple top on....

Plus when I don't care about that part, still a beautiful killer guitar!

Ply?May as well. They are ply anyway and do it yourself is always cheaper, right?
