Fahrenheit, Celsius, or Kelvin?

Got over two feet where I live. The wind was blowing in the direction that my driveway and sidewalk has well over three feet. Looks like a lot of tunneling with the snowblower. Working up the motivation with some coffee right now. Will start on it in another half hour, after breakfast settles.

6f before sunrise in lovely NE Illinois. No serious precip in the near forecast. Seeing a 40 suggested for Tuesday. There will be folk out in shorts and t-shirts if that happens.

Varying reports here of 17 - 19" central Jersey shore area, not counting drifting.
The drifting actually afforded me an open space next to my garage.
Shoveled a path to it for the dogs.

Yesterday my neighbor brought his snow blower by for me to use.
LIFE SAVER!!

I had already done all the initial pathways and was going to leave most of the driveway as is.
When done, I cleaned it up / brushed it off, filled the gas tank and thanked him about 100 times.

Just starting to feel the muscle soreness and about to go out and continue with the detail work.
started at 8 F ; up to 14 F now.

16 and sunny here. Shouldn’t be too bad. I figure three hours, and it should look pretty nice.

Just finished up here…can’t tell exactly…but I’m gonna go with @SG John and say…A bit over 2 feet. The snow banks along my driveway top out at my nose, near the end…but it’s very drifty.

I had at least two feet on the side of the cars that the wind was coming from (the neighbors had only a foot, as that's where it all came from). Between the cars and house, was well over waist deep. So, between two and little over three feet. Five hours with snowblower and shovels to clear driveway, four cars, the sidewalk, and enough of the street in front of the house for me to park my work vehicle. Sidewalk and driveway are completely bare, and hopefully will not attract any ice over the next few days.

Man, WE were warmer than that yesterday!!
People literally wearing shorts.

I spent many a weekend snow skiing in jeans and a t-shirt as a youth --- one "acclimates" to ones climate.

Ive not resided in the North since 1987 ...... and have only been above the Fl./Ga. line less than 5 times-- in that time frame---my blood is so thin you probably cant SEE IT!
Id wager its roughly the color of Captain Morgan ;)

I'm feeling for you east coast peeps dealing with the bad weather. Unfortunately, the infrastructure isn't designed to deal with it. This forest road (part of my commute) was just as tight on the right side a year ago. My cousins crew cut it back 100 feet for nearly 20 miles during the fire last summer. Made a fire break. It was 24 degrees today. I was a little warm outside in a sweatshirt.
