Howard Stern is appealing to the family of late musician Meat Loaf to publicly support COVID vaccinations.

“Poor Meat Loaf got sucked into some weird f——— cult,” said the SiriusXM radio show host in an episode on Tuesday. “And somehow really believed that — he made a statement, ‘I’d rather die a free man than take that vaccine.’ And now he’s dead!

Covid "survivor" here, no vaccine necessary. Besides, seems like it's not really stopping anyone from catching it. Seems like most of the people I know who are coming down with it ARE vaccinated. What's up with that?!

The main point seems to be to keep people out of the hospital and prevent their death. I'm guessing we'll all get it eventually but it does seem the bare minimum of a civic responsibility to get the vaccine and help to lessen the spread to give some relief to the doctors, nurses and other hospital staff that are the ones dealing with the worst part of this.

9 million people die annually of starvation. 3 million of those are children. This isn't considered a crisis, but a virus with a 99.98% survival rate has changed the entire planet. We've seen a collaborative worldwide effort to vaccinate every human being, but never a worldwide effort to feed every human being. This has never been about our health. My civic responsibility is better served by giving the homeless guy a meal than getting vaccinated 3,4,5 + times (which clearly isn't working as well as originally thought anyway. We can see this by the fact that cases are still skyrocketing despite the majority of the population being vaccinated, and many of the new cases are vaccinated people.) What's going to keep me from catching this particularly nasty cold again is the natural antibodies I've already built. And if one is to get sick, we can prevent the spread by staying the hell home, easy peasy.

Well, every one that we know personally who has died from Covid was vaxxed and boosted. That's seven people and all were in good health and none over 42.

You can still catch it even if you have been vaccinated, but most likely you won't need to go to a hospital or die. The majority of Canadians in hospital from virus are unvaccinated, they are the ones who are dieing and becoming very sick in large numbers, they said the numbers last week , but i don't remember. Meanwhile here they have cancelled many appts and all elective surgeries for cancer patients etc, because the majority of unvaccinated are taking up all the beds.

PLEASE, no debates about whether vaccines should be mandated or not.

Concern for your fellow forum member who is worried about or has contracted COVID = GOOD

Discussion about whether people should be mandated to get vaccines or have personal choice = BAD

Discussion about the long term effects of the vaccine.... why not PM the person who has questions if you feel you have some significant medical insight. We don't need it out here.

Thank you!!
