Man that does seem good. I always thought Behringer was fairly noisy stuff.

Their rack mount EQs have a bit more hoss than others but nothing extreme. Some of their mics amd mixers are excellent. I would look at some of their pedals after this but I have my couple of multi pedals
I actually made it hiss. The hiss was significant. I pumped up all the sliders on the high end side including the level and dumped everything on the low end. And there was a hiss.

But let’s face it, who is going to bottom out half the sliders and max out the other half.

Well,
all of Behringer's designs are stolen from other manufacturers.
If you had a Behringer mixer, it was probably copied from Peavey.
(you can use the Peavey schematics to repair a Behringer mixer... because it's the exact same parts and circuit)

So if you need to buy a mixer, it's probably better to buy the Peavey, than the copy of the Peavey.
Besides which, Peavey has parts and schematic support which you will never get from Behringer.

Yorkville Sound is also a good choice which is much better than Behringer.

So just a heads up: Behringer sells nothing but knock-offs.
There is no field support for the products.
Which is probably why Behringer has never been considered "pro sound," and has never been taken seriously.

You are completely correct. Behringer pedals are knock offs. They don’t really hide it. The pedals look very similar to their counterparts. Some are pretty faithful to what they are cloning. The main reason I posted the fuzz and EQ here are because they are better than affordable, they are cheaper than a three pack of strings, and they do the job.
I don’t think they are trying to say they are better than what they are. They are targeting the low end market.
I can’t speak for any of their other products, but the fuzz pedal really does have a strong following and I had to see what the buzz was about for myself.
The EQ … it’s an EQ for $25.
As for their mixer … I couldn’t tell you. Is it poop? Maybe. Is it cheaper? Probably. Is it worth buying on the cheap vs buying a well known product? No idea.
When buying cheap gear, it’s usually a case of you get what you pay for. But sometimes you get surprises.

Not sure how I missed this, but congrats! How does that EQ compare to an MXR M108? A buddy turned me onto running one of those in my FX Loops a few years ago and it was life changing.
I couldn’t tell you how the EQ compares to any other pedal. All I know is what I have posted in my review of it.
The way the sliders glide feels cheap. And there isn’t that “stop” at the middle Unity setting.
It’s quiet unless you go extreme with it. And it does it’s job.

What is it a knock-off "of?"
A Boss?

Dont get me wrong Im not JB bashing ....I like the guy he is an honorary Ferengi LORD! ;)
I met Joey a long time ago at Danny Gatton's shop.
He's really easy to work with, and pleasant personality.
I think he is one of the better players out there as far as guitar players go. I like his playing.

Exactly. Budget stuff for people on a budget. Yorkie is good stuff. I have never purchased a Behringer speaker ever. The mixxer is quite decent for the occasional use it will get and for what it cost.
Their SM58 knock off is fantastic. Remarkably sturdy, sounds very good, amd the last ones I bought were $25 Cdn. Get 5 for the price of one Shure. If they were crap I wouldn't do that.
Incidentally zero support for Peavey and parts in Canada. Zero. As an aside.

Yep I am under no false impression that the stuff is anything hut budget. The little mixer has 6 mic inputs and 2 pre fader outs for monitors just for jamming with. Decent feeling faders and pots and cheap. I am ok with that. Hard to get a small cheap mixer with 2 pre fader aux outs. I also have an Allen and Heath 16 channel and oir band has a 24 channel Yamaha. I get that it is cheap.
I am ok with it.

When I got the mixer I lloked extensively. Yorkie has one with 2 pre aux sends but it is 12 channel. I only need to run some vox mics for jamming in a garage etc. About $700 Cdn and while it isn't all about budget, I might as well take my AH 16 channel board that is rack mount width at that rate. Just wanted cheap n small with as many monitor sends as i can find,
