Good for cleans, the distortion sounds like A$$.
Just personally I think JC is one of the worst sounding amps I have ever heard, but that's just my opinion.
To me, sounds like a weak fizzy transistor radio, or a jet plane with asthma.

A lot of players who play clean love those things.
I know it's a pretty reliable amp...very rarely breaks.

Agree there. I don't like 'em. The distortion in the big ones is an unusable joke - this little one probably benefits from not even having it - and they don't take pedals as well as they should. Its always amazed me how many I see in backlines.
