Feel bad for those folks, even the ones guilty of poor planning. Just a nasty situation any way you look at it.

For sure, people were stranded on highways they closed a couple of them, it wouldn't be a good experience to be out there. I sure give credit to the Premier of Ontario Doug Ford first time i have ever seen a Politition out there in the middle of it pulling people out of the ditches and people stuck with his pickup truck and even giving rides to their homes or safe areas. Now thats Class!

I am 3 and a half hours Southwest of Toronto. I am in the real banana belt of Southwestern, Ontario. We do not get much snow here in winter. We might get 2 storms a year with about 4 inches of the white stuff. Rest of time 2 cm or so on and off .

3 1/2 hrs at what speed? . Cant recall which place it is.
