Winter storm causing school closures, transportation disruptions in parts of Ontario

Was about 30 years ago. Before we moved to NE Illinois. Called another dealer in a neighboring town for tractor parts I needed for a job in the shop. Yep. No problem. They had it. I was told not to send anyone for it as they couldn’t see across the street. Full blown blizzard. We’re talking maybe 20-25 miles. Looked outside my store and not a cloud. Nothing but blue sky. Weather can be fun.

Anyway….. y’all stay safe and warm. Don’t feel it’s necessary to send that out way.

Step daughter is in West Virginia and got 1 foot of snow last night.

Johnny they just showed the measurements of snow that has already fallen in Toronto, 2 hours ago. It showed just one eighth shy of 13 inches and is to last there all day and its coming down like wildfire. talked to SiX String. he said they are getting pummeled left right and centre. They say it could make a new record for snowfall there. They haven't seen this kind of snow fall in years.

I am 3 and a half hours Southwest of Toronto. I am in the real banana belt of Southwestern, Ontario. We do not get much snow here in winter. We might get 2 storms a year with about 4 inches of the white stuff. Rest of time 2 cm or so on and off .

From the weather we had today on the Massachusetts coast, I would have never known there's a big storm covering most of eastern north America. It was rainy, with about 2" of rain overnight, and windy. It's just now dipping from the 40s, and supposed to be cold tomorrow.
