Chorus Pedal Recommendations

So, currently I’m using an Ibanez CS-9 chorus pedal. It isn’t bad, but I’m wondering if there isn’t something better. The Ibanez pedal seems a bit…I don’t know…thin. It does get some good ‘80s style chorus, but I’m starting to think I’d like something a bit more lush.

I want to put together a “mini-board” that will consist only of my volume pedal, my tuner, my channel switch, my delay, and a chorus pedal (not necessarily in that order).

I’m willing to entertain boutique pedals.

Boss to Strymon - it’s all fair game.

(No, @Robert Herndon , I’m not going to buy a Valvestate 8200 Bi-Chorus head! :D)

Whatcha say, y’all?

I use an MXR Analog Chorus. It has a pretty good range to it, but I think I'm in the same boat as you. Looking to see if there is something better. I hear really good things about BOSS CE-5

I have a Boss Super Chorus CH-1. I use it on my acoustic board and strangely with my bass. It is set with just a touch of chorus to fatten up the sound and always on.

I have one (CE-5) and it's a great pedal, but it lacks the width and stereo effect that my 8200 Bi-Chorus, but for someone not chasing that super-wide and dreamy chorus effect, the CE-2W WazaCraft is hard to beat, IMHO.

My MXR is ok, but I feel it lacks especially if I crank up the gain a little. I feel like I lose the effect.

Oooh, oooh, oooh, oooh... The BOSS Waza-Craft series CE-2w... Bada bing bada boom!!

You're welcome...

The Boss CE-2 is a good one I use a Yamaha CH10M they sound close. I'm more into the Uni-Vibe Chorus
or the Eventide Micropitch. I still have a Boss Dimension C that was the most expensive Boss back in the day.

Example of the Yamaha CH10M

Weird to hear that song played so fast. Weird but cool. Jimmy is my god.

That's the one I use - pretty damned amazing for the money.

What are your (or anyone else’s) thoughts on the Boss CE-3? I keep seeing that one come up while searching for chorus pedals.

There are 2 things
1) 2 knobs and a selector switch. I love simple controls.
2) Does the cat in your pictures come with the pedal?

For the most part. I think anything that has Boss on it is a decent pedal. When I bought the chorus pedal I have, was just being contrary and was looking for one that was a Boss. Same reason I held out forever before buying my Strat. Everyone on worship team owned and played them. So I got a G400.
