I will, have you played one?Check out Dean!
Second this. Ask @Jethro Rocker about it cause he has one tooI have been eyeballing this , personally this is probably the most bad assed ex type guitar aside from the epiphone ghost horse at the moment as far as bang for your buck . Schecter E-1 FR S Special Edition Sustainiac with Floyd Rose Trans Purple Burst | Reverb
Yep I just got mine a bit ago. No chance for a jam or gig yet but I will. Sustainiac is really cool! Works at even low volumes. Nice axe, well made, I prefer 9s on that guitar but 10s stock.I have been eyeballing this , personally this is probably the most bad assed ex type guitar aside from the epiphone ghost horse at the moment as far as bang for your buck . Depending on your budget and how close of a Gibson look you want.I would like to get an Explorer with:
Rosewood FB
Big frets ( I can live with med jumbo if I have to)
Rear Loaded
Trem ( preferred FR compatible)
Would like a Gibson but not sure if that exists.
Would like to buy new.
What is out there?
Thanks

Those were cool guitars. Actually a big step up from its counterpart, the Gibson Voodoo Explorer believe it or not lolMy Epi 58 Goth Explorer reissue is truly a badass guitar. I'm adding the DMT Lights Out bridge pickup today. I can't say enough good about Epiphone. Can't post an image due to the site having image posting problems.

I have a Dean V and it's really nicely balanced. I couldnt see a slab of wood like an explorer suffering from neck dive. Are Deans prone to neck dive?
Saw one at GC the other day, I may just go check it out.
Good to hear, the Dean headstock is what made me askI have a Dean V and it's really nicely balanced. I couldnt see a slab of wood like an explorer suffering from neck dive.
You can imagine my concern when I bought my V. But I was really surprised.Good to hear, the Dean headstock is what made me ask
I have not played a ZI will, have you played one?
OopsI have not played a Z
I have an Explorer, also I have a Dean V..
Based on that, I would think the Dean would be a qualified contender, even though I have no hands on experience with the Dean Z. The V doesn't neckdive at all, even with the big ol' headstock, I would assume neither would the Z.
Best bet would be to try to get your hands on one in real life and see how it feels to you.
