Some Image issues

I got these litttle Xs when I tried to load from imgur yesterday. Had to download, resize amd load as attachment. But only some pics. I can see them fine but when I post or preview some disappear. Other members pics do this lately too.

Weird cause again, I can see the images I link from Imgur but when i hit preview only some do not show up.

Sometimes I have problems because the image file is too large.
Sometimes I turn off the ad blocker, and things start working.
Those have been the only issues.
I was just thinking the internet wires in Canada are frozen, and pictures won't fit through the wires anymore.
That's probably why. Wires shrink when they are frozen, then they become too small.
Just wait till summer that's when wires expand again. Perfectly logical explanations.

OK now the same thing picture malfunction is happening to me also.

So some links are good and some are not? Funny thing is some of those pic links I have used before and they worked fine here. I could re upload some images to Imgur and see if a new link fixes issue.

I don't use imjury, but I see photos here in the forum with an "X."
It's as if the posted photo did not upload correctly.
Then I point at the "X" photo, and I have an option to "preview."
Then when I click on it, I can see the photo, as if it "did" upload correctly.

So there was something that changed I just can't say what.
It does behave differently.
I never saw so many photos that were "x" outs before.

I could certainly believe there is some imjury file error, coming from imjury .com.

Yah, apparently the BBCode / embed links are no longer working correctly.
This has happened not just with new posts, but also with pics that previously were visible.

Placeholders occasionally showed up for me in the past, but reloading a page always took care of it.
That doesn't seem to fix the problem anymore.

According to Imgur help, the problem is with the forum website, not with their image hosting.
They say hotlinks are only blocked if the image is being used in an ad or blog, not forum posts.
Has something recently been changed hereabouts?

all of my photos use the post images 'direct link' between html

tags

Maybe it is the tags that are the issue? IMG /IMG causes the X to appear even when I only had a space between them
