New Production VS N.O.S. EL84 Tubes?

So, I received my Orange OR15 the other day and it came loaded with JJ tubes. It has 4 gain stages in V1 and V2, V3 is the PI, these are all 12AX7s, V4 is a 12AT7 for the loop. I am replacing the 12AX7s with NOS GE 12AX7s and probably won't mess with the 12AT7. This is my first amp with EL84 power tubes. It sounds great, but could I coax more out of it with a different pair of power tubes? New production? NOS? What brands? Tell me your secrets.

I just put a matched set of Genelex Gold Lion EL84s in my DST Engineering UV84, and they sound pretty good. I was going to hunt down some Telefunken or RSD EL84s for it, but it was easier to just try those.

I might try those as well. I have a pair of RCAs on the way to try that I got for about the same price as the Genelex.

Genelex are great tubes in my opinion. Pricey but, its not like you're changing them a lot anyways. Food thought: lots of folks like Tung Sol EL84s as well. Not trying to hock them to ya, but the reviews are high

I might try a few of the new production units since I only need a pair and they are relatively inexpensive.
