Wireless guitar system

Those are the dogs of doom they howl and moan whenever the metal music shuts off.
Great line @Amp Mad Scientist

Well, I for one find untangling, slipping on, tripping on, and damaging / repairing instrument cables a vital part of the "guitar experience", and would feel short changed without it.

Hmmpf.

So there.

I'll get you and your little wireless system too!!

i have a line 6 g10s on my board. the transmitter plugs into the receiver to charge and the receiver gets power from the power supply under the board just like a regular pedal. havent had any problems with it at all. lasts about 8 hours or so.

I looked into this same system, just too pricey for me, but it really has great reviews.

There used to be these magnetic plug guitar cables, they detached easily if anybody tripped on the cable.
I thought those worked pretty damn well. I wonder why they stopped making those?
I was really impressed by how well they work.

@Don O Hooked me up with an Audio Technica Wireless System and it is absolutely superb!!!!
I wanna see a wireless system that's built all inside the guitar, including the battery.
The control cover plate could have a power jack charger jack...
Technically there is no reason why an antenna needs to be external...I'm surprised that nobody makes a system like that.
It's rather puzzling why most guitars aren't already wireless at the factory. Considering all the stuff they already put inside it might as well be wireless too...considering all the wireless hardware that's being made so cheap and easy.

I put mine in little camera pouches that attach to strap so whenever I switch guitars just turn off the current one and turn on the second.
Note unit on my back.

Well I ordered these Sunday evening and showed up at my door at 1pm this afternoon, was free shipping from Amazon said it would be here Friday. Well surprise surprise, I did my homework on the different brands and decided to go with these the Joyo Brand. Many Brands had 3-5 hours play time from reviews on these i read 8 hours and found 1 that said 11. Another thing that was mentioned about Joyo is they had a nice snug fit not sloppy like some others. I haven't had time to try them out yet , but when i do , I will give you my 2 cents worth.:) I was going to put in some pics, but new system says my .JPG is to large, i was able to put these in before, no problem though. :) I put a pic or two in after the new server was setup and worked.
So I had a chance to fool around with my new Joyo wireless system....and, well....it kinda sucks for me, tbh...

When my volume levels are lower, it works just fine and dandy, however, we had a real drummer come by and jam for a while and we had to turn our amps up a bit...and when I did, I began to hear a super duper high frequency just hanging around in the normal amp noise. It's enough to bug the poop out of me, and even the drummer said it bothered him too...so I switched back to a cable and it was gone. Went back to the wireless, and there it was again.

This is going to be totally unusable for jam situations, but will probably be fine for quieter alone playing.

Have you noticed anything similar, Norm?

I bought them too as back ups to my Xvive.
Depending on what you are playing, volume and gain settings.
I get the same and I even get a little bit of a distorted signal when I play clean at higher volumes.
But when I roll the volume down a little it disappears.

The bonus for me is, it allows me to practice longer and it sounds good with the volume knob rolled back a bit.

They do last a very long time on one charge.
My Xvive lasts about 4-5 hours
The joyo last a ton longer. I don’t know exactly, but it’s a long time.

For the price it’s good.

If you want something that doesn’t mess with your tone. Then you need to spend a little more $$.

If you really want to go wireless.
My suggestion is try the Xvive get it on Amazon. Unpack it carefully and trial it for a couple of days and see if you like it. If you don’t, pack it up really nice and return it.

Ah, OK so it's not just me.

I may move these on down the road. They're pretty useless to me with that high freq noise...

I just got a Xvive U2 it seems to work OK would I recommend it no why battery only last 5 hours and usb charge only

This cost less

I don’t know if you noticed it, the Xvive transmitter actually dies out first.
