Yh, its a bit pricey for peasants like me.Thanks Ramo! Don't think I'll go that route, but it was worth checking into...
Me too - and I listened to most of his audio clips and it's like all the guy does it try to play Marty Friedman/Jason Becker style leads constantly. I'm so not interested in that... Dig what he has to say he offers, but I'll live my life happily never learning a shredding arpeggio. I want to learn to expand what I'm doing, not drive even further down the late 1980s road...Yh, its a bit pricey for peasants like me.
He is a great teacher, he has knowledge and speed but its not for everyone. I just want to learn how to shred and come up with licks.Me too - and I listened to most of his audio clips and it's like all the guy does it try to play Marty Friedman/Jason Becker style leads constantly. I've no doubt the guy is probably an excellent teacher if that's what you're after. And, if I was, I wouldn't balk at that price either. He is a great teacher, he has knowledge and speed but its not for everyone. I just want to learn how to shred and come up with licks.
I struggle in that department a lot, not so much in riffing but that could use some work too.
His mate Zakk dose teaching too not sure what he charges for lessons.
Look into Lick Library instructional videos, they cover rhythm and licks and other stuff too.
I had lots of DVDs and lost them with all my other stuff when they sold my storage without me knowing…
