Marshall Valvestate Bi-Chorus 8200 Resource Thread:

I downloaded it last time you posted it. It’s interesting to see the number of engineering changes Marshall did over the years across their products. You can see that by looking at the ECO Number and dates in the lower left hand corner of each page.

Mine is a February 14th, 1993 Production Mk1. Early in the run...

Wonder if Marshall would share the Engineering Change Orders that were implemented after that date?

You could get a sense of what got modified.

Good Question!!!!

I've got a contact at Marshall in the UK. let me work that angle....

Go through each sheet of the schematic and look at the ECO numbers after your build date (or close before). Those numbers are the document copies to get. Most professional engineering firms that do Engineering Changes Orders will have an “Is/Was” documented on the EO. For instance, R12 is 100K, was 47K.

My amp was serviced by NTS Pro Audio in Westminster. But, I'm not sure what was done. Their tag on the back panel is still legible.

Robert................................ breath man-- relax-- really---
Have you played the amp ?
Have you used it onstage?

How does "IT" sound ? ...................... that specific amp in real time -- does it suck ? is it awesome? does it need work?

why dont you see and hear that .......FIRST....... then make changes?

Well,

It's a 30 year old amp, so I thought it would be a good idea to start a resource thread.

I'm gonna pick it up Monday in Hollywierd.

No plans to "rebuild" it, just gathering information.

Sooner or later, you'll have a valvestate collection.
You need backup valvestate amps.
And for every amp you buy, you need two guitars.
And for every guitar, you need 2 amps.
(you know the rules)

You would need to ask K Dog to request it for you, from the Milton Keynes factory archive.
I am not so sure they would do it but you can try.
