Sp8ctre and RVA's Guitar Adventure

Well folks this adventure is near the end...I received the guitar back from Ray today! I will give some first impressions;

When I first opened the case my initial reaction was WOW! Ray did an amazing job getting the guitar finish looking great!
The neck and body are a near perfect color match now due to his efforts lubricating the wood liberally with some magic polish!

So I took her into the music room and tuned her up...first check and pass with flying colors, perfect intonation! Then it was
time to massage her neck...oh so nice and smooth, not even the slightest hint of a sharp fret end! Each and every fret
perfectly crowned and polished!

Neck size is fantastic, no real indication that so much wood had to be removed. Maybe she was a big girl to start with. And
the action is oh so nice, very low, but with not the slightest bit of fret buzz and also nice and slinky like a bad girl should be!

Everything and I mean everything Ray did including final set up is perfect!

Now what I don't love...it has NOTHING to do with anything Ray did...I really don't care for the Lawrence Micro Coils at all.
I have a set of Twang Kings in another Tele and they may soon reside in this one! I'm going to play her awhile before
the decision is final.

I would like to give a HUGE Thanks to Ray for all the hard work! I'm sure he had no idea what he was getting into
because I had no idea the neck was SO bad!

THIS PLACE IS intercourse AWESOME!!!

However the PEOPLE on here make it AWESOMER!

Congrats to Chris and Ray---- and ALL OF US every one lol

We had a saying when I was in the Military due to "Some" leaders reactions to situations..."When in danger or in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout" so Pandemonium fits.

Pretty good is not good enough. This will be done when it is good. If it does not get there, then it wont. Back to the drawing board.
