I could see the dusting the mountain ranges got from yesterday’s storm on my way home today, looks like it got down pretty low ..We had a good rain storm yesterday, almost 5 inches, which turned to snow late afternoon.

Said it was to start in November with lots of snow, so far a couple of cold days with 1 skift of snow a quarter of an inch , gone the next day, followed by warm weather way above normal. And now we are in December with mild temps. and possibly a new record today. Wow! maybe we are going to get it January through March?

Hey there. Welcome back dude, you gave me a fright lolI'm here. Just been busy. Had our work Xmas party last night at the Castle Danger tap room. Got 20 inches of snow a week and a half ago. Then 40 and rain last night which causes huge fog. Now it's back to 19 degrees and snowing. Been assembling new bikes today and swapping on studded tires for everyone. Boo and Too have killed 4 shrews since turkey day. I've had 4 moose scare the crap out of me in the last couple of weeks. The new SG still rocks and it is still stock. I love ebony fretboards.
No worries. Had a big spruce fall across the front of the driveway a few weeks ago as well. Had to get the chainsaw out and play.Hey there. Welcome back dude, you gave me a fright lol
Big wind we had last night finished this tree off. Ash tree about 50ft tall. Been dead for several years. Far enough away from the house to not cause an issue if it fell. Left it up to keep wood dry rather than drop it and have it rot waiting on me to use it. Didn’t fall very far when it snapped at the base. Fell into and is being supported by a tree at the edge of the timber. Still plenty windy today. Will finish taking it down tomorrow. No worries. It's the ones at night that you have to watch out for. They hide behind road signs and jump out at you going "boogety boo!" As you pass by in the dark. They are so dark brown you can't see them until you are right on top of them. Had a big bull one night about 2 miles south of the house and a cow about 8 miles south another night. I had 2 cows standing in the middle of the road together last Saturday morning. That was easy. They lick salt off the highway. That is an action packed paragraph!!! I would like to hear more about the moose scares.
Nice to see you brother!
Burns nicely in the fireplace as well.Ash is good lumber!
Some of these trees are pretty straight. If I had a way to mill it, I’d send ya some for guitar building. Probably not as desirable as swamp ash. But maybe ok??Ash is good lumber!
