Pymetrics?

Does she play an instrument or sing? Get her to join the forum!

Shoot, does she just like music?
Yeah she used to sing and play acoustic guitar, recorded a few things back when, but I'm not sure if she still does or not. She grew up and real life grabbed ahold of her like it does to us all. I can ask her and see!

So does my brother, actually. He doesn't sing but he's got a great Taylor acoustic and is pretty heavily into classical guitar.

Some of the assessments would be a high risk if you were to be a cop or in the military. Can't think first and/or be rational, just react without conscience. Some good for when high cost purchasing decisions need to be made, but also bad for when the company wants to screw people and your sense of fair play gets in their way.

I don't see how a test that literally asks me to tap the screen as many times as I can in 60 seconds is going to help them, or anyone, accomplish that lol

It was just silly....I've taken aptitude tests and similar, etc....but this was different. This was stupid. Oh well. I played along because why not.

Critical facilities engineer, btw, is the position I applied for. I've got a few years in that field so I imagine that would be more valuable to them than how many times I tapped my screen in a minute, but who knows anymore.
You had to tap the screen? Well then did you tap EVH style? :electric:

I’m with Blink. These personality assessment tests that tell you there isn’t a right or wrong answer aren’t accurate.
I’ve taken them multiple times in the past and I bet I completed them differently each time.
I don’t believe you can reduce a person’s personality down to a series of algorithms and know who they are or what kind of work ethic they possess.
I have interviewed and hired many people in the past 20+ years. Some were duds that interviewed well. Others were fantastic that interviewed poorly but their resume was fantastic. And there was everything in between.

Now you are telling me a person”s livelihood hinges on a series of games?
Piss on that!

Good luck to you Blink. I hope you find something you like.

Yeah, I mean, I don't disagree with it, but I kinda feel the same way about horoscopes too....like there's no way to know really what's up simply by my date of birth, or in this case, the scores of the games I played. If that makes any sense? I think it's probably mostly accurate though.
"most unique," meaning : Captain of the USS Enterprise
Not just a Cadet; but a full captain.
