FRIDAY NIGHT RIFFS

F***** sakes, now I have to worry how I throw the pick and I have to think to get it right as well as plying the riff right.

Thnaks to you lot, lol
Actually. I thought it was a dandy toss. Good technique. Nice flat spin with just the right amount of arch for maximum distance. Only thing missing was some dude in the audience screaming….. “my eye…. “

I found this when I first started playing back in 2005. I had some DAW that came with my Line 6 interface. At the time I had my P-Bass and my Stagemaster. So the DAW had a cheesy drum machine and I experimented. The effects came from a POD HD 500 I had. All I knew at the time was the major scale and pentatonic. So I tried working it.
The baseline was super simple, I just followed what I did on guitar.
For what it is, it wasn’t bad.

This is why I love this thread. I get to start my day with great riffs like this.

Great job as always.
Since you have this tuned in drop B, what gauge string do you use, and what brand?
I have run all kinds of strings over the years and always go back to Ernie balls. In all 4 of my drop B guitars I run the beefy slinky, the skinny top heavy bottom, or the Mondo slinky. I am very happy with all of them.
