Just throw an extra spring or two on it, instead of the usual 3. You can get higher tension springs as well. Makes them much more stable in that regard. Cheers
Really???

Oh, hang on, your pulling sharp. Sorry, kindly dis regard. Cheers
I've not tried a trem setter but have heard they are good in that respect, so long as properly set. I did consider for my Jackson, but decided against as you can no longer utilize "flutter" trem effects with one installed. You have to drill a hole in the guitar body to install the trem setter. Ibanez has a similar device that I cant remember the name of. If I think of I'll get back to. CheersQuestion about a Floyd equipped guitar....
When doing a bend on the 'G' string and then simultaneously plucking the open 'e,' wouldn;t the open 'e' be out of tune since bending the 'G' reduces the pitch of the other strings????
Perhaps this????

I don't know I kind of like the look of that Sunburst. I'd be interested in knowing what they are going for? I like that model.

Yes. That type of problem is a classic complaint with Floyds.
Ivan mentioned extra springs for stability.
Extra springs are supposed to help with this a little, too. I cannot say from experience, though.
Maybe the device called a Tremol-No would work for you Robert. Allows the trem to operate normally or to be locked (no movement), or operate as a "dive only" trem. CheersThanks, V_1,
I'm really debating this...I never really liked Tremolos, but have performed some songs that needed the effect....
I am curious.
While lurking this forum, I see you have a Schecter.
The Schecter is not strictly period correct for the 1980s metal music. But, it could meet the task. Why not just use it?
